Eh, I was in Ohio on Saturday figuring all this out.... anyone, is it really a better idea to buy a whole new case instead of just putting the power supply in my old one?
That depends on what you value most: your wallet or the US economy.
Buying only a new power supply will be cheaper for you. However, when you buy a whole new case you'll be spending more money, thus stimulating the economy more than when you only buy a new power supply. :-)
Given the ideas you have shown to have about capitalist economy, I think you have a moral obligation to buy a whole new case, not just a power supply. <GRIN>
