I bought a small glass planet for a family member some years ago, but never
copied down the website. These things are sooo neat- some are like forming
planets, some look like earth, some are fantasy planets. I didn't know until
recently about his "planet hiding" (Infinity Project) around the world for future
generations to find

I have a collection of those glass planets - "Simpson Globes", as they're often called,
after their creator Josh Simpson. I really love his work.

And coincidentally, the small artisan community in western Massachsuetts that I
recently mentioned in another post is actually where Josh Simpson resides. They
have a gallery there that has more variety and sells his stuff much cheaper than
anyplace else I've seen. I think I've bought at least one new planet each time I've
gone there.
