Well, Hoon do not get permanent names until their leg fur turns white.

At most, I thought we could have fun with the lines:

"Keep a watch on C'mell. Don't let her become her namesake."

...and give pitty to the readers that don't get it.

As to:

>It all depends on when the war front leaves Galaxy Two. And that's our good >Dr. Brin's scheduling. (And I won't spoil it by saying _why_ the war changes.)

And finally, an on-topic question (which _might_ show that I need to go back and read more carefully):

I don't know if that'd work. I took hints and turned them into logical
inevitable conclusions and got a paraphrased "That's eerily similar to what I have
planned" from our good Dr. Brin.

Just ask yourself what could be so important that'd make all sides withdraw
from Earth's system at the same time....

Huh?

I don't know how these two messages got combined, and the actual question deleted . . . on the list they look like what I sent . . .

God bless America,
Land that I love!
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans, white with foam…
God bless America!
My home, sweet home.
