"Hail Holy Queen" is said only once, not once for each decade.

I saw this and originally thought it was incorrect. So I did a little search and found:

which lists all the parts of the rosary with which JDG is apparently familiar, and then says:
After the Rosary: HAIL, HOLY QUEEN


I guess growing up, since this was always done by both my family and my church, I assumed it was an official part of the rosary, but per the site, this is something that is just said afterwards.

I guess if you're open-minded, you learn something new every day...
