As an aside, I had a friend who was doing BIOS programming at one point.
There's an adage, "A year working in artificial intelligence is enough
to make anyone believe in God." His corollary was, "A year working in
BIOS programming is enough to make anyone an atheist."
Just felt like throwing that out there.
