Actually, to be fair, I don't think Ambassador's wives are actually intelligence agents all that often. The CIA generally tries to avoid sending families overseas after some unfortunate experiences with the Russians, I believe. I think that Joe Wilson, although possessing Ambassadorial rank, wasn't a real ambassador, though - sort of like Alan Keyes.
