USAF, 30 years, 8 months, 23 day (says so right on my retirement orders!)
10 years, 8 months, E1-E5 doing what is now called the Crytologic Linuguist
Career field; I was a Chinese and Korean linguist in the intelligence
business. Then I got my commission, trading Chinese and Korean for Fortran,
Pascal, COBOL, etc. and spent the rest of my career as a
communications-computer officer. Retired Oct 1st 2000.
