Dan's uncle who served on a sub during WWII is pretty tall, at least 6'.
(Dan's about 6' (more like 5' 11.5") and he's the shortest guy in that
family.)
When did the Navy start instituting height restrictions in subs? (Doug?)
I know they had them in the 1980s, one of Dan's friends from high school
who was fairly tall joined the Navy and was not allowed to serve on a sub
because he was fairly tall.
