At which point, you no doubt would have complained about the Bush
Administration's violations of the civil rights of the detainees without
charges, their scare-mogering over terrorism, and and their not publicly
releasing the involved intelilgence....

Of course, none of this suggests that the intelligence included places,
methods, and names. We'll see what the final commission report says, but
so far none of the publicly released pre 9/11 intelligence has pointed to a
domestic attack nor to the use of airliners as weapons. Then again,
perhaps Bush had the evidence that in retrospect should have led to giving
the orders to shoot down hijacked airlines.... but without 9/11 happening,
would that really have been possible?
