The transcript looks basically accurate. In listening to the actual show, I was almost *sure* that he had to be engaging in some sort of "illustrating absurdity by being absurd" shtick or something. Sadly, the right-wing commentary establishment is absolutely positively off the deep end on this issue. I am just flabbergasted when I recall the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity talking about the importance of the "rule of law" when it comes to illegal immigrants trying to seek a job here, and then stoop to absolutely absurd lengths in trying to defend what has occurred here. Fortunately, this is only one issue..... and Chomsky has a much longer track record, so I won't go as far as you suggest, but I can only hope that at some point they will come to their senses - what with the President and National Review showing the right way on this issue......
