That, to me, is the evil of marketing. And why it should be eradicated.

This kind of BS is evil marketing. Actually, Amway is mostly a cult. http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Amway/ Scientology and Amway both redefine ethics.

That's an interesting way of looking at them (redefining ethics, I mean). And yeah, Amway's got some cultish tendencies.

You know what's funny about this is my dad tried to get me involved in Amway years ago. I wasn't interested. At the same time I was a Mormon (convert) and he'd become Southern Baptist. He was constantly trying to convince me that Mormonism was a cult (outlandish behavior, rigorous thought control, etc.) while at the same time trying to wheedle all his fellow churchgoers into becoming "distributors".

I had a most wacky life for several years there...

That should be just fine, after recalculating angular differences for diameter relative to distance, for hitting a marketer's brain at 6 feet, using a Howitzer.

My wife has a comment on this. Brainwashing shrinks brains.

Not bad, that one...

More fun than a bucket of live bait.
But not as much fun as a trailerful of raccoons.
