If the rest of the world can be alienated by liberating Iraq, I am not at all convinced that they would not be alienated by efforts to tackle AIDS in African countries. Indeed, given that Iraq has now been liberated, and the rest of the world is actively bot just sitting on their hands rather than assisting the Iraqi people in building a stable democracy - but is actively *opposing* those efforts to help the Iraqi people build their country!, I don't find it all difficult to believe that they would also feel similarily about tackling AIDS.
