I'm under the impression that he's just a user of their products, not
responsible for the actual production of any of them.  Just various
things he's stated over his tenure here.

Also, I've gotten the impression that he doesn't make money off the
fruits of his intellectual labor, and I doubt that there are very many
people working for M$ without benefit of a paycheck.
