decency, John.  Thanks.  This was cogent.

Yes, it is fair to say that I am balanced in a general
philosophical sense... fearing cheaters and power
abusers in ALL directions and beleiving deeply in both
free enterprise and social action in favor of a social
diamond... but I am NOT balanced between Republicans
and Democrats.

That is correct.  While I admired Barry Goldwater and
could at least respect Bob Dole, and have hopes for
GuvAhnold, I despise the utter nastiness,
idea-bereftness, hatefulness, shrill intemperate
jingoism, rapaciously insatiable kleptomania and
slavish devotion to the Saudi Royal House ofthe
present GOP.
