Oh yeah...

Talking about a "Unipolar, Bipolar, or Anypolar" world
during this period is really, IMHO, anachronistic.
Ancient civilizations did not have anything close to
the ability we have today of power projection or
foreign and economic influence. It would be much
better to discuss ancient civilizations in terms of
"spheres of influence" instead, since most of the time
they could only influence their immediate neighbours
or their local neighbourhood (if special circumstances
existed, such as the Med for the Romans).
