The author flubbed some of his dates and therefore
some of his conclusions are innaccurate. Specifically
I'm talking about the "Mechanical" age based on water
and wind...his date for the beginning of these
developments (such as the waterwheel and whindmill)
are off by at least 300-400 years.I also disagree with
the conclusion about how this influenced warfare or
fortified architecture...
