After the oil crashes of 1973 and 1979, Brazil implemented a policy of replacement of gasoline per alcohol. It was so successful that for some time we had more consumption in alcohol than gasoline [but diesel, propane, butane, etc were still bleeding us to a coma]. When oil prices went down again, sugar prices went up and we found new oil fields, this policy was reverted. But the "alternative" is perfectly viable [unfortunately :-)] Alberto Monteiro _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
