Nobody is calling for removing the guy from Congress because of an indictment, but the party rules said that some other Republican in the House of Representatives would get to be Majority Leader. The equivalent to such a situation for a president would be having his status reduced somehow *within his own political party* because he got indicted. That would be more or less expected if the indictment was serious enough...say breaking election fundraising laws. Regardless, you don't have any way to spin this as a good thing, so instead you try to misdirect and push buttons.
