I seem to recall that it might help with the pain from
some type of marine sting...but I'll look into that
another time.

<nods>  Swimming with marine mycobacteria that can
cause a very nasty infection...the bacterial
colony-forming-units from midstream uninfected urine
is ~0-10;
I don't know how many would be in seawater, but guess
50-100 _thousand_+.  I also don't recall what sorts of
opportunistic protozoans live in seawater.
