The Frontline yesterday about Rumsfeld's War was good if not much new
if you had been reading my blog.

Major news for me - Rumsfeld insisted on having all authority for the
Iraq War saying he would take *all responsibility* for it as well.
(He then kicked out the State Department experts on how to deal with
after the war and ignored the military on the number of troops and
ignored both the military and State when deciding to authorize
torture.) Funny I still don't see him taking all responsibility for
the sick farce in Iraq.

As people retire or are forced out of the Pentagon they are willing to
go on record what a disaster this man has been.

Still, unlike Bush I can see a few good things he has done in the
military so he is not an unmitigated disaster.
