After this article was written he defended people who committed genocide in Rwanda. It's not just that he's Saddam's defense attorney - although making your entire practice out of genocidal mass murderers seems like an odd way to go about things - it's that there is no enemy of the United States, no matter how vile whom he does not support. The fact that you feel somehow compelled to defend such a thoroughly disgusting figure leads me to ask, Nick, if there is any opponent of President Bush whom you don't think is one of the good guys?
