I don't recall any cases but I accept that correction that I should have used rarely. YMMV. The only pattern is that they always follow a certain politics. As long > as my conclusions were agreeing with Gary's politics, he was full of > praise. (If it is presenting facts than I believe it is not the Erik response program.) The Erik program kicks in when someone presents facts or opinions it disagrees with and the Erik program then produces simple Eliza-like responses. The most common Eliza-like response is to accuse the target of being an Eliza program. I criticize some liberal policies and positions. However, when the overwhelming problem is the clear and present danger posed by the conservatives and those who have passed beyond conservatism into right wing lunacy, seemingly those in control of the GOP party at this time, you should not expect to read that often from me. Why? Take a look at my old tag lines and blog - I am a proud liberal. You can expect my support for liberal positions in most cases. Only when a liberal policy or politician is criticized is there a problem with the methodology. I am not sure what this refers to. I have criticized JDG above for flunking statistics and trying to say that this was a spurious correlation of time-series data . I also initially reserved judgement on the source or definitions of some of Robert's data. -- Gary Denton Easter Lemming Blogs - liberal and otherwise http://elemming.blogspot.com http://elemming2.blogspot.com _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
