OK, let us look at the claim. Having maps of Iraqi oil production is an indication that the task force was planning on dividing up Iraqi oil among the participants. I see that there are also maps of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Does that mean that the US was also planning on invading these countries to give the oil to those at the task force meeting? Do we know that there were not maps of other oil fields? I'd be curious to see if the request was for all information worldwide on oilfields, or just in that area. If the US didn't plan on controlling the oil fields in Saudi Arabia and the UAE via war, then we must look for another explanation for the maps of these countries. One obvious one is that the task force was interested in the international supply of oil that could be expected in the future. Thus, having details on the supply would be worthwhile.
