That's an interesting question. I think, in general, most people pick and choose from a "menu" of sorts, regardless of their overarching belief set. It kind of depends on how dogmatic your particular belief set is. For example, I would personally consider my wife to be a good Catholic. She attends church every weekend, the kids are in CCD (or whatever they are calling it now), she has a strong belief in God, etc. However, since we are done having kids, I got a snipping. And as such, I think there are Catholics out there who would say she's not a "good" Catholic because of that fact alone.
