The swords ]really threw me and his demeanor is vastly different than the Hiro of ]the first three episodes, leading me to argue this week that "Future ]Hiro" is not from the near/immediate future but from sometime a few ]years ahead. "Future Hiro" has a self-possession and gravitas that a ]geeky dreamer like "Present Hiro" couldn't possibly obtain in the few ]weeks before the disaster strikes. I think also that he could not be ]very adept with that sword after only a few weeks. He also seems to understand his powers much more completely. There was mention of "causing a rift" ]My boss is convinced that "Mirror Chicks" husband is the same guy who ]is "Evil Glasses/ Cheerleaders Foster Dad" "s "Mind Reaming Minion". I ]don't think so. I had the same thought, but didn't get a good enough look at the guy. It's doubtful, however. I'd expect Mind-Reaming guy to be good enough to make sure nobody remembers ever seeing him. ]Open Questions: ]Who is Skylar? What is his power? I think Skyler is the Horn-rimmed glasses guy. I'm not sure he has any powers (he hasn't shown any yet, but it might have something to do with the frozen decapitated victims -- maybe he absorbs other supers powers?), but he definitely knows how to find other supers, probably using the professor's research. ]What is the nature of The Younger Brother's power? (I think he ]mimics the power of whoever he is with) I'd agree. That seems the best explanation of the flying, timestop, and precognition. ]Just who is "Evil Glasses/Cheerleader's Foster Dad"? The Villain, as far as they're letting on. Then again, I wouldn't put it past the writers to make him a secret agent who's trying to stop Skyler. ]Is "Mirror Chick"'s ex guilty or innocent? Does it matter? He's a fugitive, and she's scared of him. ]What did "MInd Reaming Minion" do to "Psychic Cop"? A telepathic probe followed by a short-term memory wipe, maybe with some sort of memory implant or hypnotic compulsion. They did the same to the cop's wife after dropping him off on the sofa. ]Will Skylar still kill "Future Painter"? And when will he start the ]comic Hiro gets in New York five weeks in the future? I guess that depends on if they save "her"... ]xponent ]Hiro Protagonist Maru ]rob -- Matt _______________________________________________ http://www.mccmedia.com/mailman/listinfo/brin-l
