This is really a melancholy news item for me.  I was at Fermilab when it was
at the forefront of new discoveries...I think both truth and beauty (top and
bottom) quarks were found there.  This discovery is basically backwater
physics.  We've known about the down, strange, and beauty (bottom) quarks
for over 25 years, and no-one ever thought that all three shouldn't be
produced in a reaction to form cascade-b.  It's sad that Fermilab is reduced
to announcements like this.
