It's about a group of scientists in Russia who have been experimenting
over the past 50 years with domestication and how it might be possible
through selective breeding in a short time rather than a long one.
They're also attempting to establish whether or not there are
certain genes that more readily allow domestication than others.  I
found it fascinating, especially the sheer scope of it.

on the other side there are  certain people raise dogs to be vicious,
chicken and dog fights to the death have been in the news.  humans are
not that evolved, it seems.
