This is contra-evolutionary. By which I mean, the mindset of avarice is
congruent with evolutionary principles -- selfish principles. Ergo, to
effect such a paradigm shift requires a brand-new approach
... The parallel is entirely valid.

i think such a shift is possible because of what distinguishes man from
beast - consciousness. self awareness also gives man the ability to be
more brutal than our evolutionary ancestors, but we are also able to
adapt socially, as are certain animal species.
