That may have pushed up oil prices by $20 a barrel or so, but it has nothing to do with the underlying problem of finite oil supplies and growing world demand. If anything it might turn out to be a positive - forcing the world to consider its energy future a few years earlier than otherwise. I reckon a hike in the price of oil is trival compared to the deaths and maiming of thosands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis in the name of non-existant weapons of mass destruction.
