I'm in Australia. It's tomorrow already. And I love elections. It's  
nearly as good as sport (and almost as important too ;) ). I fancied a  
long weekend, and this is as good a reason as any to make it one day  
longer than it was anyway (Melbourne Cup is the first Tuesday in  
November, and that's a public holiday).

This is a good point. Or at least, have the polls close closer  
together, and only announce results once they're complete...
