It's just a real pain in the ass IMO editing text in a <textarea>*, not to mention having to remember all these stupid bits of markup like =code= or *emphasis* or how the hell do I make text red again?, or the fact it requires exactly three spaces to make an <ul> etc etc. We use it here at work and I've spent coming on to three years using it day in day out so I have a fair bit of experience with it. * yeah, I'm well familiar with FF extensions like "It's All Text!" -- it's chocolate coating a turd though, as far as I'm concerned.
