I would also agree that Nationals isn't played at the right time of year. I've seen too many finals played in horrific conditions. When a game descends into a game against the elements, it's gone too far. We should do what we can to lessen that risk.
Roger said the Open doesn't have much of a portfolio. I'd agree, but that's only because it has been a struggling event, with problems locating a suitable venue. Given time, I would expect this to become a respected event. Andy Chevron
