True, but have you seen how packed the 2002 calendar is already? We're getting pretty well organised now as a community, and have a damned good schedule laid out for 2002 - maybe we should look again at whether we need a 'BUF Open'. At least discuss why we have it. Is it the Worthington Cup of our football-analogy world? I very much doubt Clapham would rush to enter a first team, especially as half of us will be learning to surf on Honolulu beach that weekend :-) I feel guilty for saying that because Nolan's a good friend and ex-teammate, but wasn't the unique selling proposition for this event to invite our friends from over the water to come and spend their time and Euros with us? At a time when we didn't have as many tournaments as we do now. Couldn't we just open ALL the tour events to any Euro teams which want to play, and host one of those in Brighton or Eastbourne to make it easy for them (a la Southampton)? Let's face it, the Xlr8rs are more likely to want to play a Co-ed tour than mix it with our top 8 teams. Sorry to complicate the discussion.
