Jason (et al),

The answer (on behalf of the UKU Board) to that question is yes.
However, it does take a while to organise these things so bear with us.

In the meantime there is a wealth of coaching information available, for
Ultimate specific information try:
- Speaking to all the "experienced" players/captains/coaches you know
and asking for advice
- Online (e.g. www.ultimatehandbook.com)

and for more general coaching information try:
www.sportscoachuk.org/

They do a number of (cheap) introductory booklets EG:
https://www.1st4sport.com/shop/product.asp?sku=B50007

We do have plans to expand the information available on the UKU website
too.

If you are interested in helping any of the above come to fruition, I'd
recommend you consider standing for the UKU board 2003.

Barry

Subject: [BD] Coaching for Uni teams???

To UKU and super experienced players.

My university provides funding for training students to be sports
coaches. Have
UKU considered running a weekend of Ultimate training to University Club

coaches?

At 50 a head for 50-100 attendies it would be quite a fundraising
venture
aswell.

Could this also aid the introduction of Ultimate to BUSA? (British
Universities
Sports Association)

Just a thought.

Jason
