Hello everyone, This weekend saw the thrid Mixed Tour event in Bakewell, Derbyshire. The weather was good and everything went pretty smoothly apart from Helen's injury (hope you're back playing soon!).
Before I move on to the finishing positions I'd like to thank numerous people for their help this weekend: Vicky for getting me to Bakewell when my car broke down Friday morning, Dave Sealy (with assistance from Lewis and Mark Fulford) for sorting out the sandwiches, Look Fly for the MVP prizes and all the drinks and snacks, all the staff at the school for marking out some great pitches, Rob and Jes for checking things were OK on Friday night (whilst I was still working out how to get to Bakewell), Chris and Maria for sorting out the seedings, a huge thank you to Flyght Club for bringing up the party tent and turning into a great social event as well as a tournament, more thanks to Dave Sealy for sorting out the lost property, Dave & Sarah Trovell for collecting the cones, etc and finally a very special thanks to all of Little Sheff for helping with litter, spirit votes and refilling the water containers throughout the weekend.
