a reminder that on Saturday 29th November, the London Savage 7s returns, at the
Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. Once again the competition will be firece - 12
top teams will take part, including representation from Germany, Netherlands, Ireland
and the Czech Republic, who are making the trip to pit themselves against some of the
finest teams from the UK.
This year, we are very pleased to say, there is also a women's event running
concurrently alongside the Open tournament. Blood, Sweat and Tiaras is a hat
tournament featuring women from across the UK and has also attracted a significant
amount of visitors from several European countries.
Both these tournaments should genuinely show some of the best ultimate on offer, with
the savage nature an added challenge to these teams. Even if you are not taking part
in either of them, we would encourage you to come along to watch - there should be
plenty of seats in the stadium for spectators. Rumour has it, this may prove to be
one of the final events held at the famous venue, although I hope this turns out not
to be the case.
