A little late in the day to respond maybe - but my job doesn't allow me to have access to daily Britdisc. Your latest (?) email referred to communication and the fact that you know me personally - well, on both counts surely an email to me, as well as the UKU, would have been the mature approach in the first instance, and not least manners?
You've made some important points - but as far as I can tell, you've also levelled abuse at indoor players generally, and UKU board members less generally (no idea if I was included too), when, with a bit of communication on your behalf, much of it could have been avoided - unless your primary motive was to rant and stamp publicly, rather than resolve the concerns that you have as directly as possible?
I'll leave the UKU to comment on the discussion over lack of bids for indoor qualifiers, etc but, as to the timing of the qualifiers - had I known of your concerns, I could (and can) move the event to the next weekend to avoid a qualifiers/winter league clash.
As I said, you had some important points that are probably right to be aired, but when the whole ethos of the sport is about communication, that rests with each individual, not just the UKU board members.
