Apologies for not knowing the rules well enough, I know we all should...

Can someone explain the difference to me between a point block and a D / O foul?

I had a foul called on me at tour 2 when my block hit the throwers hand after the disk
had left his hand. The thrower called a foul and then the pass wasn't completed. I
contested the foul and asked if the disk had left the throwers hand. He agreed that
he had let go before the contact so retracted the call and we got the turnover. Was
this right?

Also on a more general point, what happens if the marker's hand is stationary and the
thrower's hand then hits the markers hand in the course of the throw resulting in a
throwaway. If the marker's hand is stationary is this a foul? I'm fairly sure it's
not a point block because the marker never touches the disc. Would the marker have
the right to call a foul / turnover?

Cheers,
     Paul
