Then those that are interested can watch or participate, and there's a lasting record of the discussion. I'm sure the forum owners (Skunks/Southampton?) wouldn't mind. That's what it's there for isn't it?
With so many teams involved and so many conflicting requirements, it's hardly surprising that the Tour isn't perfect. The solution is definitely NOT to scrap the Tour though! (I'm hoping that suggestion was a joke). The Tour is the sole reason UK Ultimate is in the relatively healthy state that it is.
Nothing wrong with making it better of course. As long as people understand that you usually have to give something up to gain something.

At the moment some discussions get too lengthy/involved for Britdisc. Setting up private mailing lists or yahoogroups for these is too much hassle - so not enough disussion goes on. If it does it's hard for people to see this publicly.
Forums would be an ideal solution IMHO, and not too hard to implement.

We have SO much more than other European countries; lets not forget that

i just want to re-iterate that having x amount of people sending their
opions/experiences/thoughts to Britdisc isn't going to get much done. If
you are playing in the A Tour and want to try and come up with a
suitable alternative schedule for the next Tours then email me back and
we can discuss and try and put forward a solution that benefits
everyone.
