And one of my co-workers tells me this morning that "I saw Richard & Judy last Friday (.....as you do when you're a new father sitting feeding your newborn!!!) and they featured the various modern "disc-sports" including Ultimate-Frisbee. They showed some match play and I was amazed at the amount of sprinting, leaping and diving that was going on. Not a sport for me with my current paunch but looked like loads of fun." So, who were the ambassadors of our sport, and what games did they show? Was discussing over the weekend that public awareness seems to be growing, and I've recently had a couple of less-painful conversations with civilians where I didn't need to explain from fundamentals what I do with my non-working hours, so congrats and thanks to all those who increase said public awareness. -- Rich Hims www.leeds55.demon.co.uk __________________________________________________ BritDisc mailing list [email protected] http://zion.ranulf.net/mailman/listinfo/britdisc Staying informed - http://www.ukultimate.com/informed.asp
