"The schedule had to change for the bottom 10 teams for the second day, and every single captain of those 10 teams was consulted and presented with the options (which unfortunately was take the 45 minute games, or condemn 2 teams to a single match in the day)."
That's simply not true, my team, ABH2, didn't know about the change in schedule until we arrived on Sunday morning. We were, in fact, incredibly luckly that we didn't miss our first game due to the schedule change. Other teams we spoke to said they weren't nessecarily 'consulted', but informed at the end of play on Saturday. I also think it's a clear possibility at every tournament that one or two teams may pull out. I know those that write the schedules work hard and do this in their own time, so I don't want to be overly critical, but these things have to be taken into account. __________________________________________________ BritDisc mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.ranulf.net/mailman/listinfo/britdisc Staying informed - http://www.ukultimate.com/informed.asp
