I'd like to add that for A tour as well: what were the
arrangements for enforcing the kit requirements? I saw
a lot of teams with non-matching shorts, at least one
team without matching kit, and while I don't think it
should affect the outcome of the weekend, I would like
to know whether we're having a 1-tour amnesty, or
whether we plan to take this seriously, or what? I'd
like to stress I'm not passing judgement on any team,
the TD, UKUA or the kit rule itself, I'd just like
some clarification.
Cheers
Chris

Hey all,

I'm not going to moan about the venue / schedule /
facilities as I think
all my quibbles have been covered already. I will say
that
the pitches
were pretty good though. Nice and soft (mostly).

In light of emails I read last week about the new kit
rules
that apply
to the B Tour, I was wondering if there were any
penalties
given this
weekend. We certainly played some teams who were not
in
matching kit
(unless blue is the new white) but unless we were
spied on
from afar
then I don't recall anyone checking. If organisers are

serious about
enforcing this rule then I'd like to propose some sort
of
official 'kit
inspection' on the Saturday morning, maybe during the
captain's meeting.
It would make it fairer on those teams that made the
effort
to ensure
that they were in matching kit throughout the weekend.

Thanks

Stan
