ive already received emails against what i said. i understand there are
definitely two sides to the coin.
let me just make clear that i was just expressing my opinion: that i think
it is more important for the british ultimate scene for students to have easier
access to mixed rather than open. let me explain.
as a female who played open ultimate during my uni years for lack of other
women i learnt to be more aggressive and the new young male freshers learnt to
pass to women. with the mixed season first i think more universities have a
greater incentive to get women on the team, for men and women to learn to play
together and for the mixed ultimate profile in the uk to be raised in the long
term.
that is all i was trying to get across.
