Just a bit of advance warning that I hope to move britdisc to a new
server in the next week or so.
As I have less control over the new server, it's likely there will be
a period where I will block access to the web-side of the mailing list
(membership and archives) and also temporarily disable the
britdisc-subscribe and britdisc-unsubscribe mail addresses. This will
probably last about a day.
The mailing list should continue to function during this whole period,
although potentially mail could be delayed during the migration period.
This period should be easy to be kept short.
After the migration, you should hopefully find that britdisc posts out
messages almost immediately again. The current server is very slow, as
some of you have noticed, and mails can take several hours to reach
everyone.
I'll send another message when this migration has been completed,
which should be sometime next week.
