Hey all, No bids have been received to host CWIN on 3rd/4th March, so the deadline is extended & the next bid deemed to be suitable will be accepted & announced.
Please see below for info needed in bids. Note that this tournament clashes with GB Women's trials #3, Open trials #1, & Club Open Indoor Nationals (which is also in need of bids to host). Felix On 27/12/06, Felix <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
Hey all, We are now accepting bids to host Club* Women's Indoor Nationals, on the weekend of 3rd/4th March 2007. If you are planning on putting in a bid in for this tournament, please send whatever details you can about your location, available hall time, hall sizes (how many badminton courts they fit), scoring facilities, first aid, accomodation, food options, estimated team fee, likely evening arrangements, and any other info you think would be useful, to [EMAIL PROTECTED] . Due to the temporal proximity of this tournament (CWIN), you have only until 5th January to get your bid in. If you'd like to lead the way with a bid for the first Club* Mixed Indoor Nationals on 17/18 or 24/25 March, get in touch too. Thanks, Felix (Uni) Womens Coordinator *Club=non-uni, instead of 'Open', to avoid the growing confusions of Open=non-womens/mixed and/or non-uni. Anything 'non-uni' (i.e. non-uni and uni players alike are allowed to compete) should be called Club, and anything not Women's or Mixed should be called Open. So most tournaments are: Masters/Club/Uni/Junior | Open/Womens/Mixed | Indoor/Outdoor/Beach | Regionals/Nationals/Europeans/Worlds. If we were a country with five regions and we covered every discipline, that'd mean 288 official tournaments in total... and you think the calendar is packed at the moment - imagine over 5 tournaments per week! ps. full calendar at http://www.seultimate.org/ as always
