We're hosting Mixed Nationals. Live the dream. Actually we're only using the Copa location for the free camping. We're using the Grove Farm pitches and facilities for the games. Which are better than what we use at the Copa...although the Copa Meadows pitches aren't bad...they're flat, it's just that the facilities the Grove Farm are more up to par for a Tour event.
Take the Bakewell venue Si Weeks used for Mixed for example. Those Tour events were superb yet the facilities weren't the best. The party was held in none other than the Copa Cabana tent. Anyhow...Mixed Nationals will be more expensive than Copa mainly because there's only 16 teams coming to cover costs and we'll be donating profits to GB Juniors. Price is TBD at the moment. Essentially what you are paying for is pitch quality. There seem to be very few venues that have enough pitches to accommodate a tour. Copa is an excellent Party Tournament and if you haven't been there you are missing out - however if you think that you could host a tour there you are living in a dream world.
