Hello BD,

Yes I've been told that Nottingham is MT3. I was also asked to
reserve 8 pitches. I still don't know how many teams are allowed in
or what the schedule will look like or be available.

I will however give a brief heads up on the event.

The playing fields should be very nice but please provide feedback
throughout the days to myself or any other Flyght Club member. This
is a new venue so we need to see if it's worth using again. The
facilities at the playing fields aren't 5 star. Lots of change rooms
(good), lots of hot showers (great). Otherwise though it's no
Birmingham with a posh pavilion but more like a Mansfield. It gets
the job done. We'll be putting a small gazebo by each pitch for
shelter and trying to make sure there is a place to go should it rain.

Parking may be trouble as there will be a Cricket match on that day
and also one of the 'It's a Knockout!' things as well. We're going to
try and push them a bit farther up pitch. Considering this venue has
around 22 pitches we couldn't really reserve the whole thing. If you
can carpool at the Camp ground that would be preferred.

The camping is a 2 mile walk from the pitches. If you're up to it.

route...it won't work)

We'll be providing nibbles and lunch stuff at the pitches on Saturday
and Sunday. Our normal caterer will be providing a great value high
quality hot dinner at the Camping. If you've been to Copa you know
how good value and good tasting the food our caterer provides. It's
not just bacon rolls and burgers and they always have a nice veggie
option.

The will be open for breakfast Sunday morning and even have stuff to
take away to the pitches. Again though we'll be there with nibbles at
MTHQ.

I'm trying to up front about all this as much as possible so you all
know what to expect. After the event we'll be publishing the accounts
as well so you can pick this event apart til your heart's content.

Last thing to note...both the pitches and the Moderns venue are
DIFFICULT TO FIND. Pull out all the stops getting directions for
yourself. We'll be putting up lots of signs.

Steve
