Are you: female? residing in the south-west or there abouts? keen to play a summer of fun yet progressive (we hope) mixed tour?
We're looking for women of any ability to come and help create a Devon team for the mixed tour this year. There will be regular training sessions - with the emphasis on keeping it fun but being constructive and working on our game in preparation for tournaments. Training would primarily be in Exeter but this could be alternated depending on where our players are coming from. At this stage we're looking to find a critical mass of women with the idea being that choosing the male side of the squad would be largely women lead. Please get in touch if you are interested. Training with Dartmoor on the horizon, the fresh southwest air with a hint of the sea blowing (gently hopefully) through your hair, lashings of creamed rice products and real ale to revitalise post-training energy levels, not to mention cider from a lemon...or was it eleven?
