Leaving aside the questions over whether publicity attracts sponsorship or
makes it look like a real sport to your non-playing mates, etc,...
Has anyone on britdisc or anyone you know ever actually joined an ultimate club
and stayed an appreciable time due to something they've read in a newspaper?
Just curious as to whether it's ever happened / happens all the time...
Naturally I saw Adam Batchelor in his underpants on Channel 4 in 1994 and that
inspired me to play ;-)
