Fire of London Recruitment 2009

Following recent successes both domestically (Tour runners up) and in Europe
(EUCF Silver medalists), Fire of London's goal for 2009 is to build towards
World Clubs in 2010 and to secure the long term future of the club. Therefore,
the major focus is to develop new players.

This goal is reflected in Fire of London's plan for the forthcoming season,
where the aim is to maximise exposure of new recruits and less experienced
players to top level ultimate.

In particular, Fire aims to take two small (13-16 players), evenly matched
teams to each of the four tour events, before making a selection for Nationals
and the European Ultimate Club Finals.

Other highlights include:

        * A pre-season away weekend (in Snowdonia or Lake District) to speed
integration of new players.
        * An early season European warm-up tournament.
        * Demanding weekend practices.
        * Mid-week practices for those in London.

We are looking for players with:

        * Commitment to practices, fitness and tournaments
        * Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
        * Potential for improvement
        * Athleticism

With the focus being on developing new players, this is a great opportunity to
play for Fire of London, improve your game
and compete at the top level of ultimate in the UK and Europe.

To get involved:
